Crystal rings of 18K watches any different than GC/GP/SS watches, or 14K/18K ring color difference?

Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone has any deep knowledge into this subject, I’m asking for C-Case’s which are more modern vintages, so time period might be affecting things too

SS armor rings are already coated, so I assume rings of WG watches are the same PZ coded rings?

14K 168.017’s have PX codes, does 18K YG 168.009 also get PX codes?

Was there ever a solid gold ring?
