Does anybody else have trouble pulling out the crowns on their Omegas?
My fingernails are useless and I often struggle to release the crown to set the watch. My Panerai and Rolex crowns are simple to release and turn by comparison.
    Any best practices out there?

Have no trouble with the crowns on my Omegas, vintage or not. Possibly a problem with yours?

I find pulling out the crown on my 45th LE Moonwatch is a tad difficult because of the crown guards on the case, and my 105.003 can sometimes require a bit extra effort as well.

The issue is that the crown is flush with the case and has guards. You cannot grab and pull as you can with many other watches. Often I use a collar stay or a pen to release the crown.

    Unscrew it first.
