So I've got a lovely project going on, it's a cal 352 pink gold French cased chronometre. At the moment it is being serviced and almost ready for collection. the original crown is heavily worn so I found one on Ebay, same shape and colour. Great I thought, but I've just heard from my watchmaker that it doesn't fit. The new crown is for a 2.0 mm tube and I need one for a 2.5mm tube.
Being French cased it does not have a case reference number, but I am pretty certain it is an identical case to the Seamaster 2577/2520, which were also chronometre 352s.
I've had a look in the usual places but can't seem to find anything, can anyone help with a parts number?

I can't help with the crown difficulty, but just to say what a gorgeous watch. And don't you need a rose gold seconds hand, as well?
    Both of these are problems which I wouldn't mind having . . . ;)

The 2.5mm ones are generally easy to find - in yellow gold at least. I picked up a genuine Omega one fairly recently from ebay.

I have sourced a blues steel hand, which, fingers crossed, will fit

It has been removed from another of my Omegas, a 28.10 automatic which will have to make do with a yellow gold one!
