Everyone? That might take a while. This topic has been covered several times though. A forum search should yield the answer, but I believe it's at the crossing point between two crowns.
Correct: 1960's 24 tooth, 7mm, flat foot crown is on the watch. Incorrect: 1970's service crown is sitting in the case.
I believe no one can confirm for certainty but I'd personally prefer an A-1 flat-foot 24-tooth crown on a 66CB.
More proof: Even more 'fakkin' proof: This crown was fitted by Swiss Time Services UK following a pre-service assessment by Simon Freese. Here is a section of the letter from Swiss Time Services UK with details of the service: I have no more "proof". That's the lot!..................... Now I'll add an element of, uninformed, doubt 1):http://speedmaster101.com/105-012/ 24 & 32 tooth crowns on the watches shown. (Maybe the 32 tooth examples are service crowns) 2) Last year I attended a London 'Time4apint' meeting, organised by @tyrantlizardrex. I got chatting to a rather well informed collector about my watch, and in particular it's 24 tooth replacement crown. He examined my 105.012-65 and told me that (in his opinion) this reference could also have originally been fitted with a 32 tooth crown. He was suggesting that the 32 tooth crown, that STS removed, may well have been the original crown. Is anyone able to clear this one up? Was the 105.012 fitted with both 24 and 32 tooth crowns?
