I'm selling this nice Croton alarm from the 1950s which I got from our very own @woodwkr2
Overall, the watch is in good condition, the alarm works properly. The patinated dial and sharp lugs make this watch special.
Here are some relevant details:
Case: 33mm (before the crown) Stainless steel case with nice lugs (some say the lugs are "fancy", some say "not just fancy, sexy" - see below). The case and lugs are super sharp! Caseback signed Croton Alert Nivada Grenchen, Waterproof, Stainless Steel, Incabloc. 52 25725.
Crown: Twin, unsigned crowns, believed to be original.
Dial: The dial has a nice two-toned patina, with the tan / cappuccino lumes. The red arrow tip of the hand to set the alarm is also nice.
Movement: Manual winding A. Schild 1475 badged for Nivada Grenchen. Serviced last Sept 2017.
I'm asking for USD 800 OBO (watch only, plus 4% Paypal or F/F) but already includes the cost of Fedex international priority.
