Croton Chronomaster strap recommandation

Hi, I have a Croton CASD ("Swiss High T" in the Chronomaster Only book iirc) and noticed the same thing, lugs not quite a full 20mm. A standard 20mm steel bracelet or something with a QR spring bar just won't fit

I'm in the UK and I've gone with a 20mm rubber strap from straptailor.com (although it's not currently on his site) as it's pliable enough to squeeze between the lugs.

I will give a shot to a 20mm Ripstop B&S without the QR then.

Thanks for confirming the weirdness of the LW 😅

@Scarecrow Boat did you get a 20mm as well?

Sharing a picture after service. Some plexy scratches remain but it is far better

Yes, my B&S Ripstop strap is 20mm 👍
I was waiting for that last box to be ticked, I also bought a bracelet for a Universal Geneve 842113/01 which is a rather small dress mechanical square watch (same serviced batch that I received).
I think they have an very refined collection of straps/bracelets offer.

Can't wait to wear both watches tbh, I was getting a bit 'bored' of my IWC R811AD as beautiful as it is.

I will post the watch with the strap on as final message for that thread.
Many thanks for the support in my horlogerie journey 🫰

@Scarecrow Boat Do you happend to also know the lug specs for the watch ? (diameter and length)

I'd rather get some quality one rather than a generic chinese set from amazon.

New to OF and wanted to share my experience with the reissue (or zombie, if you’re a bit of a pessimist) Nivada brand bracelets. I purchased the BOR and it looks like a perfect copy of the vintage bracelet and end links, with very high quality look and feel. However, it fit my 7.5” wrist like garbage, with the first row of beads sticking straight up over the rest of the link. Total waste of $200.

I now wear it on a $40 “Panerai replacement band” from China (via Etsy) or a WatchGecko tropical.

Hi ! Thanks for sharing your bracelet pick !

I just remembered I forgot to share my bracelet pick. I did copy @Scarecrow Boat but have absolutely no shame as it is looking killer !
A hell of a look for such a patined watch.

B&S straps seems to be of very good quality.
