It's a Seamaster 14700 with a cal. 552. Photos are pretty bad but are they good enough? I think the dial looks okay but a second and third opinion would be appreciated.
Any time I see fuzzy out of focus pictures I almost always wonder what the seller is trying to hide. But OTOH. I picked up a really nice Hamilton 4992B dirt cheap because most people were scared to bid based on the crappy pics.
Based on the BIN price, I think the seller knows what he has and is milking it. I'm guessing the poor photos are part of the strategy. I made what I thought was a fair offer and it was immediately rejected.
If a seller is able to ask a few hundred bob or more for a watch, he is also able to post good quality pics. If not, then he is not worth the hassle and something might be off
Or he knows something just isn't quite right and is hoping someone will be willing to take a punt at it.
