OF Experts-

I recently purchased at a premium a 14900 62-SC Constellation case. Can the experts determine if this is a counterfeit? My gut tells me yes due to facets on dog leg lugs is not as pronounced as my current case. However my knowledge if their were different case manufacturers for this model/year is limited in my research. Please advise if any additions picture angles are needed for evaluation.

Thank you experts-

There were different case manufacturers, with slight differences between cases.

What we need is clear side-on images of the lugs please -alongside you other case would be good.
Also the ends of the lugs

I don't like the perlaging either but perlaging can be misleading in photos if it doesn't catch the light just right.

The lugs look very slim and don't have the facets that a CB case should have but I couldn't honestly say it was counterfeit rather than heavily polished.

Here are some pics of a CB 14902 from an OF sales thread to compare.

Do you have a pic of the medallion (I should have asked for that before)

The arrangement and size of stars don’t seem correct for a CB case.

I think the conclusion is that there are questions over the authenticity of the case but at best it is a heavily polished example and you should return it if you can.
