plus minus 4 hours if all goes well. I figured it would make a great personal intro as well. I promise pics later tonight if all goes well wih the FedEx delivery.

I love the info and knowledge you share. That has helped me along this twisty ::screwloose:: quest for a Grail that started with the the discovery of the modern reissued Co-axial seamaster 300.

I've found a watch that's met almost all categories of my perfect watch.
    - manual winding
    - mechanically simple yet reliable workhorse
    - magnetic shielded
    - 37mm and larger
    - vintage
    - not too main stream
    - stunning dial (that's of course subjective)

    Here's to a great forum.

Meanwhile my little custom 8 day is tossed aside like an ex wife.

What better prop for a railmaster....now I can't wait till I get home to take more pics

    Home......

I sadly have never been a fan of bracelets so this baby that is in great condition is going into a storage box.

Another. Rail prop, a rail spike from 1944....canibalized this strap off another watch

Next steps include a cleaning and ordering an omega archive....but for now, she'll be on my wrists for a few days.

I hope you guys enjoyed the little pictorial and feel a little of the excitement that I'm exuding.

Thank you all for your comments...

I'm discovering more about the watch...the radium Lume on the dial still glows ever so faintly ...but as I already knew the hands have been relumed with something else....that glows for about 5 seconds

Meanwhile ..... I've been clicking around here more and am seeing some very cool watches here.

And now for the obligatory wristy
