reloj.jpg reloj atras.jpg Hi everyone, i'm a new user in this fórum.I have an Omega watch that belonged to my grandfather, He gave it to me as a gift several years ago, I think it acquired when he was Young. At first I didn't like it because i found it old-fashioned. but now I would like to wear it. i spent all my week end trying to identify the Model, but the most similar are the models from 1942...My clock doesn t have any marks it says just Omega. i would like to restore it to the original aspect.
So i will really appreciate your comments and advices.

    Thanks in advance

Ps. Sorry for my bad english. :)

It would really help a lot to see pictures of the inside of the back, as well as the movement.

Looks like a 2577 Seamaster with a bumper movement (351, 354) and a refinished dial.

could we get a clearer picture of the text? at the moment the hour hand is obscuring part of it.

So it is redialed, do you think that it will be a good idea to restore it? Or it is just a waste of money?

You mean "redial it the second time" ? ,

you should open the case back and see what's inside, how it looks then make decision from there. (buying an original dial is another option)

Thanks for your answer, I'm not sure, buy a new old stock dial sounds like a good idea, but it could take months to find the correct one. When I get home I will take some pics of the movement. I really want to know if my Grandpa restore it inside :p.

Everything looks correct inside. Make sure it is well lubricated and you can start to search for a dial which has Omega Automatic and Seamaster on it (for bumper movements 351, 354)

And just one more question I was looking for a buckle, I saw many vintage kinds, but I'm not really sure which one is the correct for this specific watch. i'm also thinking about buy this bands in alligator leather, I really like that square grain. correas de cocodrilo.png

hebilla.png Hi, I was looking for a buckle, and I found this! it looks exactly to the 40's 50's model. What do you think about it?

Ask for a photo of the other side of the buckle. I think that is where some of the tell take signs of fakes are evident
