    Hi OF members,

As I continue with the search for my first Omega vintage watch. I came across this watch.
The only way I could learn more and to assess my untrained eyes is post it here and get the opinion from the experts.

    This should be a 168.017 cal 564
The dial looks original to me, with some stain on it. The hands and crown: original

The case appeared polished, but not the worse I have seen.

Anything that my untrained eyes missed? Or my assessment is completely wrong?

What's the fair value to pay for this watch? Thank you.

I’d check sold eBay listings for a fair value. Lots of these pop up on eBay so personally I would look for one without a stain on the dial.

I would be worried as to why that stain is on it, it looks like a burn mark:cautious:

Yes, possible. Or else how come the rest of the dial looks clean.

I live by the mantra of ‘you never get a second chance to make a good first impression’.

For me, the seller has fallen short. Red flag for me.
