I have a triple date/moon phase cosmic Omega. I have had it repaired three times by a reputable? repairman. If the watch is bumped the moon phase stops working. The repairman says the watch has a spindle that is too short, which makes it susceptible to sliding off when the watch is bumped. Does anyone have a similar issue, and/or a solution.
You're talking about one of the early vintage ones? Could well be it needs some parts replaced that he doesn't have access to, from memory these watches did suffer from issues relating to the moonphase.
Here you go. Keep in mind that this is the "good" dial. Original hands and dial safely tucked away. We'll call this one a running project Dial is from ebay. Hands are from Ofrei. Still looking for a better dial. Bezel is from a Seiko until I find one
