Another frustrating morning on the phone with Omega. Only feedback is that they are unable to do the repair due to “unavailability of parts.” I asked for more detail (e.g., bezel, bracelet, movement parts etc.) and they weren’t able to provide. Watch will be back in my possession in 3 weeks. As mentioned, recommendations for independent Omega specialists in the San Francisco area would be greatly appreciated....thanks!

Well, looks like my persistence paid off...omega now says they will service the watch. Estimated completion by March, will post pics of the refurbished watch once it’s done. As always, thanks to this forum for all the support and guidance

Finally! Frankly, I thought this was resolved but they still had the wrong bracelet in the order. Got the below message today. Estimated completion is April (I sent the watch in for service in March 2020!)

Thank you for your e-mail.

I asked management to look into your concern. Service order # xxxxx has been updated with the correct part number that you provided, O020ST1181215. We thank you for being our valued customer and remain at your disposal to provide any further assistance

indeed, it is unpossible to get a new bracelet or a new bezel. Also the ofrei service bezel is unavailable. i need a bezel too.

Yes, finally got the watch back in May (sent it in originally in March 2020!). Got a full refurbish so watch is essentially brand new. They sent it back with the service bracelet (what I asked for), but when I looked again at the original bracelet I realized it wasn’t in bad shape so I sent it to a local guy to fix it up and put on the watch. The service bracelet wasn’t an exact fit and you can see in some of the pictures the difference in thickness at the shoulders. All in all, it’s been quite a journey but thrilled to finally have the watch back
