So I've come into possession of this Cosmic 2000, with no real information on the age or history other than that it was amongst the watches my grandfather had for fixing.

It's running fine and keeping good time, but the bracelet has been really abused:

There's a few links that are really destroyed, and the rest are either coming apart or really roughed up. I don't know anything about this bracelet, but I'd like to replace it, and I was wondering if anyone would know what type it is and how available it might be.

Looks like an 1171 bracelet with an incorrect clasp and I think incorrect/aftermarket endlinks.

The modern version (1171/1) is available from Omega. Vintage ones also come up for sale here and on eBay and are generally of a better quality imo, not to mention period correct for your watch.

+1 for wrong clasp and wrong end links. You would need a 1171 plus 677 end links.

Thanks all - I'll have to keep an eye out for the 1171, and see what the cost of a 1171/1 is.

I may have some 677 end links in my parts box if you can find a bracelet.
