Bought this little beauty from JimJupiter via the sc.
Finally it arrived yesterday and surprisingly I found a matching strap.
The chrono-pusher feel super smooth and the Venus 150 (Cortbert 429) is ticking strong.
What kind of strap would you choose?

kind regards,

Timo

That would look lovely on a "Milanese mesh" bracelet IMO.

If you put it on one can I claim dibs?

Sounds interesting, unfortunately I only have 18mm or 20mm mesh bracelets in my strap-box while the watch has an unusual lug-size of 17mm.
So no chance for this test - unfortunately....

I think some kind of old looking bor or oyster -style might also look good.

Are there any cortebert experts around?
I have a theory about the description "sport" printed on the dial.
Most watches titled "sport" e.g. the Laco Sport have waterproof cases, this cortebert is far away from beeing waterproof. But unlike most Venus 150 movents I have seen so far this one features an incabloc shock -protection.
Maybe cortebert did refer the usage of the phrase "sport" to shock resistance.

kind regards,

Timo

I'd suggest a thin buffalo-grain leather strap in light-brown or tan, to match the lume on your numerals. Something like this:
