My 2990 Ranchero (white dial) has a non-Omega crystal and I want to get it replaced. Ofrei says the part is PZ5005 and has a white tension ring, but the one I have on and pictures I find seem to have a silver tension ring, I never see 2990 (or similar) cases with white tension rings.

Is PZ5005 tension ring actually white or do they mean silver? If it is actually white, is it possible to keep the current tension ring with the new crystal?

In watch material supplier language, "white" means silver, not actually the colour white. For a gold coloured ring, it would be referred to as "yellow."

And the Omega part number 063PZ5005 already has the colour built into the part number, and it's silver.

    Cheers, Al
