I want to make an offer on this one but is it all original? Cal.is a 283 but no picture from the inside. Thanks for your help already. Greetz Simon
I think this is it - Ref. 2608: http://www.omegawatches.com/spirit/history/vintage-omegas/vintage-watches-database?ref=14811 The dial has a rather heavy patina, but otherwise looks like a nice original watch. Can't say anything about the movement. The watch band is aftermarket, but that can be replaced later. If the price is reasonable (below $300), then this looks to be a good starter Omega. gatorcpa
I was lucky to buy this beauy just under 200 us dollar or 147 euro. A dog leged omega at last. Like the unsual markers at 3 6 9. And it is in original condition. The patina isn,t that bad eighther.
It isn't a Seamaster, not even an early one without the name on the dial. According to the link I posted above, the case is not water-resistant. That's one of the requirements for being a Seamaster. Still, any working and all original Omega for under $200 is a bargain. And the unusual lugs are a nice bonus. You did very well, gatorcpa
Sorry. I know it isn,t a seamaster. Was a slip of the fingers. Haha. But thanks for the nice replay. Greetz Simon
