I am researching which is the correct style bracelet for my 145.022-68 "Transitional" reference Speedmaster. It is a 2655xxx serial.

I have seen conflicting info showing 1039/516 and 1116/575 bracelet/end link type for this generation Speedmaster. Can anyone tell me which is the correct bracelet style for my watch? Were both of these bracelet options offered on a -68 Speedmaster?

I am thinking the Extract of the Archives certificate I am waiting on for my Speedmaster will tell me this info. But I am not keeping my hopes up as many extracts I have seen show the bracelet category as "Not Mentioned".

Pretty sure it is a 1039/516 with a date range of 68-70

Thanks for the input. According to the ilovemyspeedmaster.com production date query my serial is predicting an extract of March 1969.

I got it. I don't have a bracelet, but knowing your budget now, I will keep an eye for you. I am always looking for deals when it comes to bracelets. I put my 2/68 together for about $1200 it took a while but it can be done.
