For sale is this Vintage Edox Lorenz Top Alarm. I think the movement is the manual wind AS 1931, working perfectly, the alarm is very loud! 37mm case. Stunning domed dial and cool blued alarm setting hand. Stainless steel original bracelet with the signed buckle and patent number on the links. This is one fantastically priced and looking mechanical alarm wristwatch! Can you please enlighten us on the ties between Lorenz and Edox? I couldn't find much on the internet... GLWS! Paul
Thanks - Yes. That's Lorenz indeed. The ties with Edox cannot be found anywhere though. As Lorenz has a true horology heritage (although not longstanding as the brand dates back to the 30's), I was wondering what kind of alliance they had had with Edox and why, as there seems to a few edox/lorenz co-branding examples. It's a fantastic watch nonetheless!
Exactly, Lorenz had his own line (and also an in-house caliber at some time) and was distributor of other brands here in Italy, for example Aquastar and Edox.
Bought a couple of watches from Franz, great to deal with and watches are NOS condition as described.
