Up for sale is this Arten Substar 20 Atmos vintage diver.

The Substar steel case was used by many Swiss brands in the late '60-'70, and, if i'm not mistaken, in some of the Jenny Sealab divers.

Unpolished all stainless steel case: circa 38mm (excluding crown) X 46mm (lug to lug).

Stunning light gray dial with a fine grained finish in perfect conditions.

Original nicely aged lume on dial and hands (missing on the lollipop seconds hand).

Original screw-down crown.

Original black-white bakelite bezel with lumed numbers in immaculate conditions.

The cool caseback with the 2 sharks engraving is unpolished with a couple of tool signs.

Movement is the ETA 2782 with fast date change in good working conditions, service history unknown.
The watch is fitted with a period correct vintage steel nos bracelet that fits the watch look perfectly. It would look great also on a tropic strap.

I’m asking 350Euros, shipping to the EU is preferred.

That dial really is something special. Great condition bezel too!

Bit of a bargain I would say, wish I could but will have to leave with a GLWTS.
