After I picked up my steal your seiko, my first solar watch I made a post about its color scheme matching the US flag and the Grateful Dead steal your face logo. A short while later I received a DM from one of OF’s makers of these cool leather watch related works offering me the pad which is a great help when changing straps or links etc.
It is extremely nicely made, I’d say huuuge quality. I asked if a could at least pay for shipping or material but nope it was just sent to me gratis.

FYI to you leather workers. I’m a very amateur magician these types of pads are great to do card tricks on.

I bring it to work and can easily do a half hour to an hour group having everyone laughing. So you leather guys may want to think about that. This bad is good for half deck tricks which may not sound good but there are hundreds monte tricks alone that you can use 2 to 6 cards and they entertain my crazy audience for the day.

So thanks much. I received this shortly after I sent a buddy here a couple books on Buddhism. Cool group of people

Ya know james I was the same as you never really thought of what I was working on as long as I had the correct tools above. But the seikos with the tubes and pins can be a real pain in the as I would just clear an area and a tube sock would be added if nearby. But these pads underneath are a great help and magicians pay good money for a quality one as you can spread the deck and maintain control.
I know you’re half joking about the tube sock but I think I’ve actually tried it. Regarding karma, I had three of these books as the author is a friend of mine. I sent two copies to members here who either shared my interest in theology or were going though some tough stuff. Pay it forward as they say.
