Hey there,

Instead of directly asking for some help (which I'll definitely ask for later 馃槈 ) here are a couple shots of a King Seiko 44-9990 from 1966 that I found in Japan.

Even tho it was most likely polished the angles still remain. The dial is absolutely splendid with it's patina.

Was shot with M50 and Sigma 105mm macro lens.

Enjoy 馃榾

Beautiful shots! BTW typo, it's a KS 44-9990 as per the caseback

your post led me to this article, sweet! 馃榾
Thanks for pointing that out 馃槜

There are plenty of nice articles that relate the history of King Seiko and specific models. I love reading those myself 馃榾

nice pics, maybe without direct lightining would have been even better
It was totally done on purpose. I personally think that the halo of light coming down on the crystal makes a nice scenery 馃槈

Thanks ! Perhaps my favorite KS reference.

Great pictures. The case back detail is amazing.

I am so lucky the medallion is not rusted or damaged. I wish it was not polished but hey still a decent shape overall 馃槈
