Question for those fortunate enough to own one!

Has anyone else confirmed what is stated in the Sala book about the ability to set the chronograph hour hand independently?

Also curious are there any other examples of wrist chronographs (UG or other) with this function?

I understand UG also produced pocket versions of this but what about on the wrist?

And is that a UG case opener tool? Guess it's 'go hard or go home' around here! 😀
Incidentally, do you think your crown is original?
I have a Berthoud Genève that also has a crown individually beveled on it's underside like that, made me think it's an original item.
Seems like the sort of tooling that would've only been done way back when.
