...crawling the WTB section and is for sure accepting new patients. But I don't feel like getting cured from my money..
He's booted, always be extra vigilant when one of these scumbags reaches out immediately with a phone number or email, its because they know they'll be banned and lose the communication channel before long.
Also thanks for the tip, if you get one like this in the future the best thing to do is PM Cicindela, myself or one of the other mods just because we then get an email notification and can get on it quickly.
The watch doesnt even exist. These are now a regular occurrence. They are also creating fake Instagram accounts with stolen images to appear legit. If you receive an offer message from an OF member with 0 posts/likes, simply delete it.
Dr_Jennings is a member on VRM since 2008 with 386 posts. I can't compare the whatsapp number as the one here in the pm has been erased.
I sold a SM300 in the past to Alex aka Dr_Jennings. He's from France and he's an honest guy. I'm still in contact with him. I'm sorry for the delay but I see now this post..
He already wrote me a inadequate mail on IG, accusing me and calling me inappropriate names that suggests he is not really a valuable part of this place here..or any other....
You should really only post if you know what you are talking about, which you don't. The 165.024 he purchased from me. It is listed in the Omega Private Watch Sales Forum. I was also skeptical about his low post count but the deal went smoothly, he has a ton of references and sales on the Vintage Rolex Forum, where he has been a member since 2008. I would agree that most of the time, overwhelmingly, these type of inbounds are often scams, I am not disputing that. In this particular case, that is not the case.
You seem to miss the point. Good luck to you. DO NOT ENGAGE SELLERS WITH ZERO POST COUNTS THAT PM YOU ON THIS FORUM.
While that is certainly good practice, one I am not disputing, that wasn't the only point you tried to make. The reality is, with this particular individual, the watch DID exist AND the deal went smoothly.
Like I said, you are missing the point. I doesnt matter if this guy or the watch exists or not. The point is do not engage anyone like this on the forum. And the seller is a fool if he feels it's a good idea to PM individuals trying to sell outside of the forum rules with zero feedback. Please dont support or encourage this behavior....and your posts do both.
