    With the Fed taking the first step to allow consumers the right to repair their electronics without the manufacturer's involvement- will this reform migrate to other industries like horology perhaps?

    I know some watchmakers would be happy if manufacturers like Omega would loosen their regulation on after sales service. Especially the ordering of parts.
