    Hy,

I'd need some help with this on...all i see is a wrong crown...(the thinner 10 sided crown that fits is hard to get i think...) and some of the "onyx" on the markers are missing...five.

Thats all i see. The rest is good imo...but i'm no expert...thats why i'm asking for some help

    Ref. 168.005, Cal. 561 s-l1600-2.jpg s-l1600.jpg

Dial is OK IMO, general setup 168.005 with 561 is OK, production date ca. 1966/1967

Other pictures available? Upper lugs, are they rounded?

Dial has patina, is that acceptable for you?

Would pass if for shure because it's gonne be tough replacing the marker inlays

    Rotor maybe replaced

Crown replacing is not a big issue

Sum up: Would pass it otherwise its very cheap and you will take it as a starting point

Thx for the infos...i personally like the patina...and i'll try to have the marker parts replaced later on...if possible...otherwise it doesnt bother me that much.

Here's a pic of the lugs ...i believe they're ok

Sorry I can't judge the lugs from this picture either...

How much is the asking price?

I really think the watch has been messed around with too much

The missing inlays will go on your nerves, I'm pretty shure ;)

850€ is too much i think:

For 850€ -for example- this one was sold last week on ebay Germany:

You would have gotten an completely original condition watch with sharp lugs, original crown, excellent dial and hands, just a new crystal and a service thats all.

This is the single most important piece of advice any beginner can receive, and also the one they are most likely to ignore.

You won't find better advice elsewhere. That is 100% certain.

I agree with @Passover. Slow down, do your research and you will eventually find the perfect watch :)

Nobody is having a go at you, it's a simple observation based on experience. Go as fast as you like, nobody minds. Just don't get all upset if you make a purchase which is then pulled apart on here. I see you're quite happy to keep asking for free advice but you seem rather selective about which bits to take.

Have you looked at the sales section here? If I am not mistaken, there are a couple of very nice Constellations for sale at the moment :)

Sorry if you have got the impression that I (or others) would interfere in your affairs, that wasn't my intention for shure.

Shurely I don't feel like a good here, I started one year ago and regularly ask others for help and support.
