Up for sale today I have a nice 1960's Constellation 168.005 with beautiful pie pan dial and gold top case. This is seen by many as the quintessential Connie from the 1960's, when the then newly designed dog leg case was first combined with the lovely faceted pie pan dial. This gave quite a radical and modern look to a watch line that really hadn't changed all that much since its original introduction in the early 1950's. The dial on this one is just about perfect in an off white colour with gold baton markers and hands, all the original tritium is still present and hasn't been touched up. The case has a little wear, possibly been polished lightly at some point, but still retains its characteristic edges. The case back has a couple of light and shallow scratches from a previous opening attempt. The gold medallion is in excellent shape. Movement is a cal 561 with 24 million serial number dating it to somewhere around 1966/67. The watch is winding smoothly, running and keeping good time with the date advancing at midnight ( well 00.05 actually ) I have no service history for this one. Fitted to an almost new Hirsch tan strap with contrast stitching €1450 net to me which will include Track and Trace shipping worldwide. I prefer payment by Bank Transfer but will also accept PayPal for trusted and established OF members. Return is possible, but only if not as described. Any questions just ask!
