I'm viewing a Constellation offered online that seems to be very well kept. As a new member here I have been busy reading and learning and appreciate the many contributions others have made. I'm only just starting to learn.
I would appreciate your thoughts on the dark discoloration seen on the hands the Omega logo and Omega lettering just below it. As I understand this should be yellow gold color? I could be completely wrong but studying other examples I'm just not sure what to think. The small star just above 6 o'clock clearly shows yellow gold.
My thought is this could possibly be the lighting but doubt that. What do you all think?

Looks perfectly fine, check your monitor settings it looks all silver to me. Any darkness is just the lighting.

I'm not sure what you're referring to.

The applied omega logo, a Omega Text and star are applied metal so may reflect other colours. They look fine on this example.

To my eye that watch looks stunning. In fact, where is it for sale?;)

There's nothing about the hands, markers or star that looks gold coloured to me. The watch appears a fine example in excellent condition.

I think you should be asking for case back and movement pictures and if they are as attractive as the front view I'd be looking to close a deal.

    Good luck!

Ideally it needs the correct length seconds hand but other than that looks stunning.

Thanks everyone appreciate the input.
Yes, that's the eBay link for it. It's become a bit pricey now but from what I've learned so far this is truly a fine example.

This watch was pointed out on the Ebay Recommendations thread several days ago so never likely to go cheap.

The crown, would you consider it original to the case type?

That's how I found out Edward. Some members could be bidding I'm not knowledgeable enough to bid once it went over $2,000. For all I know it could be worth it.

The crown is one of the correct types, but it's a replacement, not the original period one.

It's how the silver reflects the light. They are not dark.
