Constellation Pie Pan dial concerns

Hi all,
I know its a pretty ratty example but I spotted this in a secondhand store near me (unusual to find any decent watches in the ones I visit).

Judging by the fact the hour indicies don't touch the markers as @SOG53 pointed out in this thread:

Does that confirm this is an aftermarket dial? I'm new to the piepan world so not sure if this is a blanket rule for checking correctness across different models.

That detail is just one issue, you also have irregular and wonky minute markers, and in text the C in Officially is very irregular
But in fairness we need well focused straight on photos to be certain.
Case is quite polished and crown is wrong.

The distorted text looks like just crystal scratches but its tricky without a few shots from different angles to compare with and get a better overall look at the dial

I took a couple of shots but they wouldn't let me get it out of the perspex box it was in. Sometimes I guess I can look a bit shady. WIfe always laugh when I 'randomly' get the pat down at the airport everytime!!
Will check my camera roll and see if there are better shots

OK here we go, my only other two shots at slightly different angles. I do hate when my iphone does the sharpening thing. I should have put it on Raw Max before taking shots as it does weird things to the details.

I suspect the dial is fine and that the irregularities are due to crystal condition + phone camera doing bad things. Case is too soft for my liking. Did you inspect the hour markers to see if they are black onyx or black painted? In the picture below, there is some inconsistency suggesting that either the onyx/paint may be missing/chipped away.

Its priced according to condition so I may still pick it up. A new crystal, crown and band and it should look ok for a daily wearer. I did read the original crystals are becoming unobtanium though.

I have owned a pie pan in the past and it looks genuine to me. There appears to be some corrosion on the dial, so also inspect the hands. I would also take a peek at the movement. Make sure you price accordingly for the replacement parts (eBay etc), as they can add up.
