Wrong hands, not the best of case condition.

    The dial:
    - MOY does not work perfect (and is more guessing than anything else ;) )
    - The 3 "S"-s in SWISS look uneven to me

What do you think about the dial?

    Thank you very much.

    It's a redial.

Hard to check MOY when obscured by the hands...

I'm not convinced it's a redial or an original dial. There's a lot of schmutz on the crystal or dial that is obscuring some of the details.

The case has been heavily polished. Not a good sign for the rest of the watch.

Neither am I, but there's other things that would make me pass on that watch. There are too many very nice C-case Connies around to bother with an over polished mess.

    Thanks for the ultrafast answers!

Yes, definitely. But I could see, that the M is to far to the right.

Agree, that was my conclusion, aswell. But the dial question didn't leave me...

The "MOY" test works for the earlier Constellations. I think that test goes out the door on some of these later ones

My gut tells me it's good, but there just isn't enough detail in the pictures to be sure.

    Gator.

    Use your eyes, not gut..

Look at those 2 R's and see how different they are. (chronometeR , ceRtified)

The two R's in CHRONOMETER are the same. The R in CERTIFIED is a skinnier font, and it's quite possible a small mark on the crystal is obstructing some of the lettering too.

I still say pass on the watch regardless.

    Hoi -

The R's are not uniform in the words Chronometer and Certified in Constellations from the late 1960's and 1970's. Neither are the O's. That's just how they were done.

Is this one a redial, too?

That one is a different story Gator.

You need more training, I guess. Haha.

Fonts are the same for both watches. I think they are both from around 1968.

    2nd one is mine, BTW.

Two giants sharing thoughts (sparring). both correct?
Only in Omegaworld can a question have several right answers and more wrong ones..

Looking at the Omega logo and the sunburst effect, I would say it's a service dial to be correct.

You might be right on that. I'd need to know the case reference and serial number to be sure. I think some of the later cal. 564 versions would have a sunburst dial.

Sunburst dials are normal with these models but this sunburst is TOO STRONG , that makes me think it's a service dial
