    Hello again Omegaforum!

You guys and girls are the smarts. I'm still learning my way through this.

I'm looking at buying an Omega Constellation ref. 168.005. The seller is pretty reputable, but it's always best to get thoughts.

My questions are in two parts:
Should this watch be a pie pan? I've only ever seen pie pan Constellation, not domed dials.

Shouldn't this watch have sword/dauphine hands? Again, only ever seen it with.

    Thanks!

If you provide photos, you'll likely get a response.

    Photos?
168.005 can be dome or pie pan, hands should be dauphine.

Case appears to have corrosion on the edge on the left side of the picture:

Worn plating off crown, and that dial is very very clean...which is giving me second thoughts.

Mmm not sure about this one, wrong crown, wrong hands, polished and T SWISS MADE T on dial. Most of these 168.005 (if not all) have only one T when lumed on both hands and dial. Better photos needed but I would be staying clear.

It's hard to say for sure from those photos. It may we'll just be the hands and crown which are wrong. The two 'T's on the dial still concern me though. Maybe someone with more experience can shed some light.

For the record, when a member suggests to steer clear, that's not code for "buy it".
