Hi all,

Was hoping to have some expert opinions before I decide to pull the trigger. I've seen black dials are most commonly refinished so hoping to get your thoughts.

They should never be pointy
The script on this one has been nicely done but there are a few reasons why this isn't a £1300 watch
Soft lugs
Replacement crown
And the redial

Once you know it's not as original as the seller claims then the over effusive (and misleading) description sticks in the throat too

the box (missing it's insert) and guarantee have been put together with the watch as its not a Constellation box

Another indicator is the "O" in OFFICIALLY.

Most originals seem to have one that almost looks like a zero, not an o, compare to other "Os" in the text.



Lots of redials have nice round Os (although this one is particularly bad).

 

It's not the obvious tells, it's missing the minutia that will end up boning you on a redial. It never ceases to amaze me how much I learn on this site.
