I bought this from Jp, haven't got a case back tool to open it, but I was wondering what reference this would be?
A few notables, it has pointed lugs, where I found most similar cases having rounded ones, plus there are drilled lug holes. A ratching clasp and gold medallion case back. Lug width is 18mm, Case is 34mm excluding crown.
Here are some photos for reference, some help in identifying would be most grateful.

    Looks like a 2782, powered by a 354.

thanks very much for that, indeed the case matches.
But been looking through Google images "omega 2782" they all to be piepan dials or the normal dome dials with dart markers. Can't seem to find a similar one like what I have purchased with plain dome and batons? Could this be a franken?

Thanks, beginners luck. Just super lucky. Feeling giddy... Lol.
On the dial itself, should i get my watchmaker to stabilise it? I see quite a few bubbles forming, I guess it could get worse with the humidity levels high in Asia.

Not much you can do about the bubbling. Leave it as is. On the whole, it's very attractive.

You said beginners luck - How did you stumble on it?

Just read up on the forum for a week or 2 to familiarise a bit. Decided to try snag piepan, but so damn high bidding anything on piepans. So came across a cosmic 2000 for my first vintage omega from Japan yahoo auction. Everything went well with that transaction, but was still looking out for the elusive piepan, but came across this particular constellation, bidding was kinda low, just lucky I got it. Thought was gonna go way over budget.
I think the Japan market is worth looking at for watches, I look on yahoo JP more than eBay.

    It's not a 2852 powered by either a 501 or 505?
I've seen those markers on that reference a fair few times before.

EDIT: Crossed t in Constellation and drilled lugs would mean a 2782 though..!

Actually looking back, maybe potential buyers were put off by the presentation of the piece.
    Definitely scrubbed up well though.

Just a bit of elbow grease got her looking much much better.

An absolute bargain. That bracelet alone is worth $300.

Let's see a wristshot outdoors in natural light. Congrats again!

Damn, good to know... But I think she'll be a keeper.
Time to start culling the collection. This watch bug is real! What to next?

Tbh as u can see traders try to leave it as original as possible... Hence I got lucky. Worked to my advantage.
