I think they're most common with stick hands but I've seen them with that shape as well. I can't find any definite description or old brochures.
If they are wrong but everything else is right (dial, movement, case and price) then if you like it go for it. You can always pick up replacement hands afterwards.

C-case are not my thing but some info here:

I agree - I'd be more comfortable seeing stick/batten hands but C-cases can have dauphine hands

There are a couple on the net with that dial configuration and dauphine hands (but that's no guarantee of correctness)

Desmond's essay shows at least three different crowns, including this one on the OP's watch

Mine has baton-style hands and a different crown. Still everything else seems great about this watch - the bracelet is wonderful and difficult to find. I’d get this one if I were you and switch the hands.

Thank you for all the information guys. I have asked the seller to send me some more pictures as I like to see the movement and also the medallion on the back. If that is ok I might just go for it.

So I ended up buying the watch. I couldn't say no, since It was priced well and it was just serviced last year. Once it arrives I will post some pictures. Thank you all for your help.

Watch arrived. As promised here are some pics. I apologize for the crappy lighting. Will take some better ones during the day. Watch looks much better in person.

Hello, I’m late to the party here. I’m a lover of modern omegas but decided to dive into some omega history with a C case Constellation. I’ve offered a gold turler branded one with dauphine hands. (See photos attached).
However my research suggests it was rare for the C Case to have dauphine hands and I haven’t seen any gold models with them. The dealer insists it’s original including the hands but I’m not so sure.
Does anyone have any knowledge of gold C shape constellations with dauphine hands especially this date only model which dealer says is ‘early’ sixties although as far as I’m aware the first C case came out in 1964?
    Many thanks

@Davidt They’re the only ones from chrono 24. I’ll ask him to send me some.
