    Looking for some advice.......
Is there any reference book or online that gives information what constellation dials are interchangeable.

Specifically, I have a 37mm 'jumbo' connie 561 with a crappie redial that I am looking to replace. Wondering if something like a dial from a 168.010 564 would be same size and have the same dial pin location.

At times like this I wish I had already started a BHI course so would have the skill to be able to take watches apart and assess them.

The 561 and 564 dial feet are the same, basically the same movement, 564 has the addition of quick-set for the date.

Dial diameter and design are pretty much different for each reference so you're most likely going to need one specifically for your watch.

That is unfortunate, I thought it was more straightforward in terms of dial feet location and dial diameter. It is going to take some time to find a good condition dial from the same reference. Most of the Asian examples are degraded. Thanks for the info.

Feet location is the most important, the rim of the dial is second and the size is third.

    A 168.010 dial.

Have 'rim of the dial' differences been documented by anyone. Otherwise how would I know what dials are interchangeable.

Dials were not meant to be interchangeable, they were designed for each specific reference, finding one from a different model that fits your 168.010 would only be a coincidence.

I tried on a lot of ref's and dials and cases and remember all of those but I did not write them down. (let the Franken Masters try to find out themselves)
