Good afternoon all! Trust everyone's doing fine and well this sunny Sunday afternoon! Anddd... This pic was shot and sent to me coupla hours back... just these two pics so I asked the seller to get me pics of the movement and caseback. Chronometer certified it says so I'm guessing calibre 551. BUT.... constellation in a cosmic case?? And that constellation font.... hmmm... I don't know guys, i did a quick Google search, there are dubious examples on ebay, plus I've seen the cosmic mostly in the seamaster line.. The lumes have aged evenly on the markers and hands though... awaiting more images from the seller... that knurled bezel looks nice though...
Looks legit. It's C-shaped, and C-shaped Connies are out there. Good luck. Pic from: http://omega-constellation-collecto...12/constellation-c-shape-omegas-child-of.html
Thanks Peemacgee... yes I was just reading about it, most likely a 564. Initially I mentioned 551 when I saw the "officially certified" print on the dial and remember reading somewhere that among the 500 plus movement range, the 551 was the certified one... I was wrong indeed, so... I'll keep reading..cheers
if you like Connies and you haven't already seen it you need this: http://omega-constellation-collectors.blogspot.co.uk
