Honestly, I think you're better off living without it. Or find the exact reference and try replacing the whole caseback. There are a few fakes out there so check in here before purchase.

    Have to agree.
    What reference we talking?
casebacks come up rarely, medallions even more so.
Set yourself some alerts and be ready to buy if one comes up.

I need a medallion as well. Nothing in the last six months apart from the shitty, fake, cast ones on eBay.

I think I still have one or two NOS casebacks bought from Watchco longtime ago. 14k yellow gold medallion. 168.005.

NOS means New Old Stock. An item that was manufactured years ago, but is in new condition.

    New Old Stock (“NOS”).

Made as spare parts long ago by Omega, but never used on a watch.

    Hi Rolf
It means that you are incredibly fortunate if @hoipolloi is suggesting that he might sell you a case back.
PM him before someone else does.....

@Rolf, the medallion was never sold separately - a case back without one is nearly worthless. If you want to get in touch with Hoipolloi, press on his picture and then the blue text "send message" and you will communicate with him directly.

Your watch is also missing the date window surround and the small 3 o'clock marker.

    Nice cat!
