Constellation C Case crystal??

Hii Fellow OF members,

I managed to get this Connie C shape for $680 a few months ago.

And then managed to get the brick bracelet for $135.
The beautiful condition of the machine got me hooked, especially with cal. 564 swan neck.

The crystal has one scracth near 9 index mark, and another deep one near the date window.

I can find any omega marking on the crystal, but my watch service guy told me that it's original (skeptical right?!).

The crystal is smooth to touch, so the magnifier is curved inside the crystal and not outside.
Tried to scuff the scratch a few times uaing polywatch to no avail.

I'm considering to replace the crystal with an aftermarket, but can't decide if I should go with a replacement crystal with no date magnifier or get one with magnifier.

Any inputs are appreciated ... Thank You

Btw one more question, does the crown fit that reference?

Obviously, I'm not knowledgeable enough to know this for sure

The Omega logo on the crystal is visible in the pictures (particularly in the first pic of your second post), so it looks original to me.

Get one with a date magnifier - as you obviously need glasses 😁
-as @Dedalus05 says, the logo is clearly there.

A date magnifier is a personal choice, there’s no right or wrong.
I personally don’t like them but if you do then you may wish to keep it as you found it.

Crown looks good to me. I had the crystal on my C-case replaced in January. Expensive, but you can still get them. Just be patient - getting parts from Omega can take a while.

Just one scratch? Polish it out.

I tried using polywatch 10+ times with no success.

Probably gonna live with it for now

Beautiful watch indeed ! But I believe that prior to possibly replace or clean the crystal, it would be more interesting to have a full service made ! These watches can be very very accurate ...
