Hello Omega Forum !
i am a new (ish) omega lover and i have a few questions.
i am wondering about box and paperwork for vintage watches.
Neither of my vintage omegas have any paperwork to go with them, so i have been looking across the web for boxes that i could purchase to go with them.
The first is a family heirloom that was my great grandfathers

and the second is my recently purchased 168.015.

so my question is which box types should i be looking for?
Is it possible to piece together paper work that could go with them ?
say the chronometer guarantee, warranty etc ?

Thanks in advance OF
G.

Very difficult to do. 90% of these were thrown away at some point. The chronometer certificates were tied to the serial number of the movements, so they really can't be replaced.

Boxes were specific to markets. A box for a watch purchased in the US might be different from one purchased in the UK for example.

Now my question is,
which box does my cal 564 certified chronometer usually come in, assuming a north american sale.
Through google searches i have seen a few different ones. One says "officially certified chronometer" on it,
others of the same watch came in a smaller, rectangle shaped box that only fits the watch itself, with nothing else.

Wow. Do you have access to a time machine? I would like to hitch a ride next time you go.
