Constellation Annual Calendar - Best straps?

Just picked up this, new to me, Constellation Annual Calendar in green. Looking to add some straps. Any suggestions?

The omega strap that came with it gets thicker new the watch head (more so than other straps I have owned), which leaves less space between the watch head and the strap (I like the look of less space between the 2 things). The strap I have on it right now isn't the Omega one.

Anyways, any insight would be appreciated.

I ordered this green alligator strap from Artisan Straps (Australia) for my Constellation 2887 and I love it. Superb quality and very comfortable.

That’s quite a striking strap. I’ll have to check that out tonight. Thank you.

Congrats on your Globemaster, one of few here, but beautiful. Next time, please post your wristshot here https://omegaforums.net/threads/show-us-your-globemaster.151865/

To your question - default Omega straps have a special shape around the springbars that minimizes the gap to the watch head. You will not get a similar shape in any custom/tailor-made strap that you will search for. If you prefer the "integrated" look, you are stuck with Omega's offer. I suggest you try other straps as well, there are many threads recommending specific producers. I have good experience with "The Strap Tailor" (UK-based) or "Genteel-handmade" (EU-based), among others. I would try an orange strap, it could go well with the green dial.
