Constellation Advice Needed

Hi everyone,

I have a running Vintage Omega Constellation in dire need of a service/restoration.

The movement appears to be "loose" even though it looks like it is screwed in on both sides.
The dial has quite a lot of damage as you can see in the pictures.

This is my first Omega watch and I don't have a massive budget to spend on it.

Any opinions what to do with the dial? Or where to have it serviced for a reasonable price? (New York area)

Lastly, I don't even know which Constellation this is. I did a google image search and I cannot find a picture of the same dial/movement.

SN: 16245795

Hope these pictures are ok as they are taken with my phone.

It's a late production ref 2852, and even though quite worn, it appears to be original. Bar markers are rare in this reference but not unknown. (It would be helpful if you posted a photo of the crown.)

As for the dial, I would suggest leaving it untouched. It's not pretty, but unless you're willing to take a chance on ruining an original dial more than it's already degraded, the best move to make is no move at all.
