    hey friends,

Can somebody tell me something about this watch, please? Unfortunately I have no reference number and the seller is a liitle bit unhelpful.

    Is legit, no redial?

    Regards

The fonts are suspicious to me. Should be about 1960...bjt something disturbs me ;-(

For my money it’s a redial, no Swiss Made and ‘automatic’ is slightly off centre with the applied Omega text, also wonky star. It appears to be a grand luxe version without its bracelet, maybe a 16963.
I could be completely wrong, just my guess, wait for the experts to chime in.

    Here’s one that looks similar.

    I think that's correct.

    https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-constellation-calendar-grand-luxe-ot-16963/

The case has been very heavily polished to the point where a lot of the detail has been lost forever. Not convinced of a redial though. The "Swiss Made" could be hidden by the angle of the photo or a poorly fitted crystal. I've seen many original dials where the star is slightly off. Sometimes they just fall off and are glued back in place.

Don't think this watch is worth more than the melt value, plus a few hundred for the movement.

Big thanks! Very helpful comments @gatorcpa @Noddyman

At the first look it appears ok but I go with you, not very good condition and overpolished

Looks like a 60’s grand luxe but star had been re glued IMO. Looks a bit over polished as said elsewhere . Have you checked the date numerals for signs of wear ?
