Hi everyone,

I have found this lovely looking C Constellation full set form a local antique store whilst on holiday..

It is the best full set I have ever seen however I am concerned as out the case..

I don’t know if this has been refinished and has lost its sharp edges along the case sides or if this is how the 18k models were presented. The crown also looks a little off to me?

This box is also confusing me, I have never seen one with Constellation written along with Omega before.

Unfortunately @Zaccardelli1994 none of the pics are sharp enough to assess the watch properly.
You ask about the edges but there is no pic of the edge facets.
The facets should be clear, slim and mirror bright on a C case.
From what we can see, I would say this watch is polished.

it is an early c case ( late 66?)

The box is very unusual - never seen one like this before either - a box style normally reserved for ‘standard’ Omegas ( including Seamasters and Speedmasters 😉)
Seen more towards the end of the 60s
However, with the outer box there is no reason to believe it is not authentic and you should post it in the ultimate box thread for reference.

Did you see the full papers?
The details are not normally written on the back of the papers the way you show.
Sows a little seed of doubt.

hope that helps.

As @Peemacgee warned, there are a lot of refurbisher + full boxers out there, quite sad, as they do this to watches in already good condition, the refurbishing just takes away the originality, this watch also triggered the same icky feeling in me, no way to tell though
