Hi I have just had my fathers OMEGA Constellation 168.045 serviced and re-furbished. Its a very special watch as also is my birth year. I am thrilled with the work and finish however like many watches of this model I have seen the links attaching the bracelet to the watch case are buckled and although I love the authenticity of the original bracelet that I will of course keep I am now looking for a replacement bracelet. The bracelet part number is 155/146. Any help would be much appreciated

Looks nice. What did they do to "refurbish". Looks like case was refinished looks like new. Are the bracelet link issues really visible on the wrist? Guessing this bracelet will be a hard find may need to buy another watch not sure its gonna be worth it. Enjoy the watch nice heirloom. Personally, I would enjoy wearing the same bracelet my father wore anyway

I think I would probably look for someone to restore the bracelet, the whole thing looks pretty stretched out. There are businesses that routinely restore Rolex bracelets, but the prices are pretty high, and don't generally make sense financially for a bracelet like this one. But because it has sentimental value and may be hard to find, it might be worth it for you.

Thanks for the reply. Yes case and bracelet re-finished by Simon Freese in Essex. He came highly recommended. Watch serviced to back to the original finish. After posting I made contact with him again and explained by thoughts and he has made some new links for me that I am very pleased with. Great customer service. So I have my original bracelet but with just those links replaced.

Another quick question please. Is the 168.045 water proof. It will be freshly serviced as well as refinished. And like my rolex is it a case of screwing in the crown to make it waterproof?

I fairy sure these don’t have a screw down crown.

Re water resistance. I’d say there twos thing to be aware of.
1. Any watch needs periodic pressure testing to ensure it remains adequately water resistant.
2. It’s a risk taking any vintage watch in the water, even if it just passed a pressure test. That applies to Omega, Rolex, Seiko etc

Can you share Simon's info? I have the same watch in 18k and some of the links are worn out. Thanks.
