    Have the minute markers between 6 and 7 (along with Swiss Made) been rubbed off or is that just distortion by the crystal?

    Yes it has rubbed off. You can just see the last 2 alphabets 'de'

    I would also like to see the movement on this, especially if the seller hasn't shown any photos in the listing.

    If the movement checks out then $500 is ok - I would spend more and get a clean dial though.

    Those missing markers and text would drive me mad.

    I've seen date/date versions of this watch (with band) go for around $500, but they were in much better shape.

    You can do much better for $500, dial issues alone kill this one.

    The shrugged off "Swiss made" seems like the killer... And the tritium dots behind the indices are missing, aren't they? There are also models with nicer lumed hands.

    Positive is the state of the crown (with mine the logo is rather shrugged off).

    Think the price is generally cheap but I would look for one with a better dial.
