    Hi Gentlemen,

I had a glass of wine over lunch and ended up stumbling on this:

The seller mentioned that the black dots on the left side of the dial are some loose dirt particles, which doesn't seme to be much of a problem. Caseback also seems to be overpolished... Other than that do you see anything suspicious? Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your help!

    Cheers,

    Paulo

Overall condition is decent except the hands. The specks looks like coming from crumbling tritium in hands. I am not sure how come such clean dial and markers had very dirty & corrosive hands? Probably you should prepare to find new hands parts and service them.

The lug between 1 and 2 O'clock appears to be bent a bit. Not sure how difficult that is to fix or if it weakens the watch once corrected, thought. I'm sure the experts can chime in on that.

I own nearly the same model (just without the T). Serial 24477xxx.
The crumbs are probably the "T" missing from the hands.
Please excuse quality of pics ;-)

    Regards
    Georg

    Paulo,

It looks pretty nice. I think the dial will be OK and clean once the excess dirt/lume is removed! ;)

    Georg.

Yours doesn't have any T because it's not a lumed model, the markers are black onyx inserts. (early lumed dial 168004 doesn't have T either)

Hands on these models (168004, 168010 dome dials) always look a bit short because the manufacturer used the same hands that were used on smaller models
    (167005, 168005..)

I was aware of that, that's why also suggested that the crumbs on the dial are probably from the "T"(ritium lume) missing from the hands.

Mine also has only the Swiss Made mark and no lume.
