Here is a nice solid watch with band. It has the original Omega gasket (yellow) intact, so the watch probably has not be messed around with. The is some polishing on the lugs, not too bad for a wearing watch.

Price 1399, a little high? probably not at this time considering the overall condition, lets watch and see where this one goes though,

That IS nice. A little aggressive starting price as you say. The highest I've seen a dog leg lug Connie sell for recently was Jeff's crosshair in stainless at $1500, but he included a branded strap & branded clasp along with a BoR bracelet. I would think this eBay watch would end up selling for $1250 though despite it not being a crosshair dial and the less sought after gold capped case.

Looks clean and while this example looks legit, this seller has in the past sold some shall we say "questionable constellations".

Movements with 19 mil serial should not have any T on the dial (too early for that), the crown is a later replacement with 18K colour, doesn't match the 14K gold capped. The bracelet endlinks are a bit too small for the lugs.
This watch is not for a serious collector and this seller is not reliable, either.

Hoi , the whole point is that this is not a collector watch. Still, you bring up some great points. Agree on the T, the big question is it a real dial or one of the perfect counterfeits you have mentioned in the past? The script looks very good, but the lume looks new. The crown being 18k color is irrelevant as one would expect a replacement crown or some sort.
The buyer is not one to be trusted and that was mentioned.

    Steve.
Redial or not, I still don't know until I hold it in my hands with X10 loup.
But clearly, that T should not be there.

Would be more interesting if it was found to not be a redial, but a Fake dial. Either way the script is very good, so it may just be a dial lifted from another watch.

Hoi, you should really buy it and let us know. :D;)

Some of Hoi's lighting on his watches reminds me of the dramatic lighting on Captain Kirk during some especially dramatic scenes. SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK!

Could be lifted from another watch, but I hate to see the dull edges of that piepan. Here is another 167.005 piepan with one T from my collection.

The edges of the piepan are sharp and the minute markers are closer to the edges than the one on Ebay.

The T slipped right by me too. I should have noticed that the pie pan edges were not the ones that look like a shelf, but instead they resemble the earlier pie pan dials from the 50's. Thanks Hoi!
