    Hi everyone - have just pulled the trigger on a lovely constellation 14381/2 SC-3 (not sure about the 3 - very faint in the case back)

    Looked very nice in the pics but I was a bit concerned about the minute registers in the rail dial section - could the experts take a look and provide some feedback please?

    Looks refinished in my opinion. The last n in Constellation should be a little more curved and the automatic chronometer text looks too newly styled.

    Refinished. The indexes on the track are all over the place! Looks lovely otherwise :)

    Ah - that's very disappointing! So definitely not an original dial then. The seller had believed it was NOS, but would seem not to be the case.

    Would this be the correct dial for this reference as most of them seemed to be the deluxe version?

    NOS is a term far too frequently used. Apart from the dial, you can see various other knicks and scratches and signsof wear, which shows it isnt NOS.

    NOS!! Just love that term.....and the people who can't help but to constantly use it :eek:
