Thinking about putting in an offer on an Enicar Sherpa Super-Dive, it looks OK to me based on the few definitive research articles I've been able to find. I'd love to hear thoughts on its originality, and wouldn't mind a guideline for values on these either.
    Thanks!

Great looking case, sharp lines, both crowns appear the same, check for logos on both crowns.

    Movement shots?
Case back shots? inside and outside?

add those and I'll check back

+1 with above. Imperative that the caseback and crowns be A1 as they are a huge part of the Enicar attraction and value.

    Cheers,

Think that lume on the internal bezel at 12 o'clock is original?

Very nice example, with a great crystal.

Ask if the top crown rotates the inner bezel, expensive repair if the part can't be sourced. Custom made part gets expensive.

What is the selling price as is?

Just under $3k - it seems high perhaps, but I couldn't find any verifiable recent sales. Only sales I can find are for Super-Divettes, and they're less

that lume does look thick, but then again - it is a enicar.

Enicar prices are surging if that is the price. (either $3k or $4k).

Condition matters, and if the inner bezel rotates, that's a big deal, too.

I can't comment on the originality of the lume, to me it certainly doesn't distract.

The seller asserts that the innter bezel is rotating correctly. I'm not too worried about the bezel lume, almost every Enicar diver I've seen has blobby lume, and I don't find it unattractive.

I'm happy with the $3k ask, unless these usually trade at $2k, you know?

The last one I saw that sold on Ebay sold a few months ago for about $1,100. The condition was poorer, though, and the pictures were really bad.

    Another one for comparison.

If you can find one in even so-so condition at $2k the line would be around the block to get them.

    JMHO.

My UltraDive has the same melted blobbiness to the lume. I just call it charming and pay it no mind.

They'll be routinely at 3k before you know it. Seems every quarter, there is a $600-800 jump. Enicars are on the radar now, not so much a year or two ago. I would guess the big jump coincided with the nice Springbar website going live.

I went ahead and bought it. I've been looking for one of these for a little while, and this one looks really good to me, lume be damned.
