$1800 makes me mighty suspicious. A stainless steel pie pan can hardly be found for that. Others will weigh in but I'd be cautious.

If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

With the current gold price $1800 for an 18k deluxe arrowhead pie pan constellation isn’t really feasible.

At this price, it’s likely a scam. The text isn’t from a 80-year old having no clue about it and finding the watch in their drawer, so the person who put that up knows what it should fetch with that much gold.

At this price, it’s likely a scam. The text isn’t from a 80-year old having no clue about it and finding the watch in their drawer, so the person who put that up knows what it should fetch with that much gold.

Yes it is. So is etsy generally considered a no-no for omegas? I ordered a 1940s Hamilton from a guy who restores them off of Etsy years ago and had a very good experience!

Okay yeah you got a good point. I was so focused on determining if the watch was real from the photos based on all of the common tells, I didn't take time to consider whether the post itself was real

I don’t have experience buying watches from Etsy. But it’s the third post with a surreal price on that platform I’ve read this week. And the other two haven’t ended with someone receiving a watch!

Etsy is full of fly-by-night sellers who take your money and close up their shops. I think that Etsy stands behind the purchase, but still it can be a pain in the neck to get your refund, and you're not likely to receive the watch.

Gold melt on that watch has to be around $2,500 at current price, maybe more as dial is also gold.

I would be very, very cautious.
